I feel uneasy with what I’ve encountered in this Religion and Belief Forum of Yahoo! Answers Indonesia. There are four sides in this forum; the Moslems, the Christians (and Catholics), neutral, and just plain atheist. I am simply standing in neutral position. The Moslems (not all) continuously mock the concept of Trinity and yesterday I read that someone called Jesus ‘stupid’. Often the Christians accused Rasulullah SAW as a paedophile. That was just inappropriate. What is wrong with yo guys?
I am a moslem, but honestly, not proud of what my fellow brothers and sisters said in this forum. I know that the fight about “My God is better than yours” have been going for centuries, but the fact that it was common doesn’t make it the right thing to do. I mean, whether the Christians sing a song or kneel down before a cross has absolutely nothing to do with me; it’s their business as long as they did no harm to the community. I used to live in a small city crowded by Christians and I always felt a little joy when I saw kids sharing their meals after Sunday School. I don’t see how mocking their religion could bring a better situation in any way. Please remember that Allah SWT warned Rasulullah SAW when he was being slightly unfriendly to a homeless old man and Moses talked to the Pharaoh with polite words.
I realize that Yahoo! claimed that they were not responsible for the questions or answers in the forum, but if someone in the community or Yahoo! themselves read this, would you please try to stop this nonsense? Thank you.
